Luke Chapter 8

Brothers and Sisters 😊

📖 In Luke chapter 8 today we see the powerful and compassionate heart of God, as Jesus graciously brings new life to many troubled souls, and transforms His female image bearers into beloved and treasured daughters of the Most High Father…

“Casting out their demons and afflictions” (vs 2),

“Encouraging and illuminating Mothers and Sisters” (vs 21),

“Healing her chronically ill condition as she touched the hem of His garment” (vs 44),

and “Raising Jairus’s young daughter from the dead” (vs 54).

Q. Has anyone else experienced the honor, privilege, and overwhelming joy of watching their daughter come to put her trust in Christ?

🙏 Heavenly Father thank you so much for using storms, trials, thorns, and sufferings as a means of grace that result in the humbling salvation of your people.

❤️ Big time shout out today to Lora Lisa Swart, my beautiful daughter and blossoming child of God – by His grace you have not given up during life’s difficult battles…

🙏 Lisa, may you look to Jesus above all else for your identity, purpose, joy, and fulfillment, and continue to respond to His kindness with true faith and repentance for the good of your soul and the glory of God…

✝️ “And Jesus said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well, go in peace.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:48‬ ‭
