Mark Chapter 11

Brothers and Sisters ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ“– In Mark chapter 11 today we see a vivid picture of Godโ€™s “tough love” as Jesus cleanses corruption from the temple, reminiscent of His painful but necessary sanctifying work in our lives…

โ€œAnd Jesus began to drive out those who sold and those who bought, overturning the tables of the moneychangers and fiercely declaring, โ€˜It is written, my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations, but you have made it a den of thieves” (vs 15-17).

Q. Have you ever experienced God’s strong hand of discipline in your life to cleanse your heart from worthless idols?

Q. Are you bitter against Him for it, or do you see it as His grace and favor to bring about more fruit and conform you to the image of Christ?

๐Ÿ™ Heavenly Father I ask your pardon and forgiveness for the many times I have desired the Kingdom (blessing), but not the King (Jesus). Thank you so much that you are reversing the curse of sin and cleansing our temples from all unrighteousness – Please keep us from bitterness because of the betterness you are graciously weaving inside.

๐Ÿ™ Holy Spirit we praise you today for sealing us and preserving us unto the day of redemption. We humbly ask that you continue to prune and mature us so that we may forever proclaimโ€ฆ

โœ๏ธ “Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming Kingdom and blessed is the King, our Lord Jesus Christ!”
